PaySchools Central offers parents a convenient and secure way to make purchases online

As we prepare for the new school year, we want to remind you that Chippewa Valley Schools has adopted PaySchools Central as an online payment resource for the parents in our district. PaySchools Central is a secure payment system which simplifies school payments in an easy-to-use online portal. This online service provides an easy and efficient method to collect fees and electronic payments for field trips, registrations, t-shirts, and any other school-related fees.  PaySchools Central accepts payments via e-check, debit card or credit card, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a safe and secure environment.

The goal of utilizing PaySchools Central is to become “cash free” in our schools.  This initiative started in August 2018 by rolling out PaySchools Central in our high schools and our district has completed the rollout to all schools.

PaySchools Central can be accessed from a link on each school’s website, the Chippewa Valley Schools District website (For Parents, PaySchools) or by typing www.payschoolscentral.com in your Google Chrome web browser. If you did not create a new parent account during the 2018/2019 school year, you will need to do so before you can use PaySchools Central. User-ID's and passwords from the “old” PaySchools system will not work in PaySchools Central. Once your account is created you will need to link your student(s) to your account with their student number.  

Listed below are some tips for using PaySchools Central:

  • You must register for a new PaySchools Central account. Your “old” PaySchools account that was created prior to the 2018/2019 school year will not work.
  • PaySchools Central works best with Google Chrome. PaySchools Central does not work with Internet Explorer.
  • When linking your student(s) to your account replace any apostrophes in their name with a space.   Example: O’Leary will become O Leary.  This works for both first and last names.
  • Assigned fees are things that your student may owe - lost library books, un-returned sports equipment, damaged school property, etc. If your student has an Assigned fee, PaySchools Central will take you to this tab first. All other fees will be listed as Optional. If your student does not have an Assigned fee you will not be able to click on this tab. You can pay for both Assigned and Optional fees at the same time.

Requirements for creating an account: Student ID No., Student First Name, and Student Last Name.

PaySchools does not work with Internet Explorer.  Please use Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari with this on-line payment processing system.
