In our commitment to support the safety of our community, Chippewa Valley Schools is pleased to announce our participation in the SmileSafe Kids™ program, a new child safety initiative developed in partnership by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and Lifetouch National School Studios.
This new program will provide the families of every student photographed on school Picture Day with a pair of Safety ID Cards free of charge.
According to the Department of Justice, nearly 800,000 children are reported missing each year. While most missing children are found within a few hours, we know that any time apart from your child can be a stressful and terrifying experience. The SmileSafe KidsTM program is designed to help your family stay safer and prepare you to respond quickly if your child is missing.
