Volunteens
The Wyandot Volunteens have been an important part of our local community for the past 3 decades. This group of 8th grade students goes out into the community to serve at various events throughout the year. The Volunteens enhances the middle school experience for students and gives students an opportunity to help others.
Any student in 8th grade may join Volunteens. The only requirement is to have a Volunteens shirt or hoodie. The link to order the shirt/hoodie is posted each year beginning with Hawk Check-In in August and is open through the first two weeks of school. The design has not changed since 1993, so if the student has a shirt from an older sibling there is no need to order a new one.
The Volunteens meet multiple times throughout the year as needed based on projects and pending events. To be considered an active member and receive recognition at the 8th grade awards ceremony, students must attend meetings and participate in at least two events per semester.
