Over the weekend, two Chippewa Valley High School students achieved one of the highest honors available to high school ensemble singers in Michigan by performing in the MSVMA State Honors Choirs. Congratulations to Alexandra Neeman and Lily Pittman on achieving this high honor. 

Salt and Light is meeting after school today. 

The MAC Principals’ Association is proud to announce that it will be offering three (3) $1,000 MAC Leadership Scholarships to our 2026 graduates. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day set aside to honor his life and legacy, which includes activism that lead to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. He is remembered for many quotes including, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Happy New Year! There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting on Wednesday at 6:30am in Room 227 

There will be a drama club meeting in the auditorium on Wednesday January 7th from 2:15 to 3:00. All are welcome to join! 

There will be a Student Advisory Committee meeting this Thursday from 2:20 until 3:00 in the media center. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts with the principal. All students are welcome to attend. 

Talent Show auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 13th after school in the auditorium. If you have a talent you want to showcase, use the QR code to fill out an audition form. Forms are due January 9th. 

 Beginning today, our district will be adjusting a la carte pricing due to rising costs, in order to continue providing quality food and service. 

Reminders and Upcoming Events: 

All students must be in a supervised activity or exit the building by 2:20 each day.

 The Clinton Township Board of Trustees is looking for two students to serve on their E-Bike & Motorized Subcommittee to explore local policy solutions related to the rising use of e-bikes, mini-bikes, and other motorized vehicles across our parks, paths, and neighborhoods. The time commitment will involve monthly meetings from January through April, with a final recommendation submitted to the Township Board by April 30, 2026. Please email Mr. D if you are interested in serving on this committee. 

The MISD is offering an SAT Prep Workshop. 

Chippewa Valley High School has partnered with Clothes Bin® to recycle clothing, shoes, & textiles. There is a bin in the East Lot.
