Freshman Choir - Mixed - SATB

This choir is designed for incoming freshman. Students explore vocal technique, choral singing tone, sight-reading and performance techniques. Students are required to attend all concerts, rehearsals, and festivals.

 

Concert Choir - Mixed - SATB

This choir is designed for all students who have limited high school choral experience. Students explore vocal technique, choral tone, sight-reading and performance techniques. Students are required to attend all concerts, rehearsals, and festivals.

 

Women's Varsity Choir - SSAA

This is advanced women's chorus. Students develop vocal technique, choral tone, sight-reading and performance techniques. Students are required to attend all concerts, rehearsals, and festivals. Admission by audition only.

 

Varsity Choir - Mixed SATB

This is choir is for the advanced singer. Understanding of vocal technique and choral tone is required. Students must be able to sight-read music. Students are required to attend all concerts, rehearsals, and festivals, as well as occasional performances outside of school. Admission by audition only.

 

Music Seminar

This class is designed as an independent study for anyone who would like to improve their skills on a musical instrument, such as woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, voice, or guitar. Students must provide their own instruments including any amplifiers, cords, etc.

 

Music Theory

Designed to prepare college-bound music majors. This course will cover elements of music composition, keyboarding, and sight-reading, beginning with the basics of music notation through four-part writing. For the serious musician who wishes to develop music reading and writing skills. Offered approximately every other year.
