Daily Announcements

Announcements – September 15, 2026

With 5 school days under our belt, and many reminders, there is no reason for any student to not be following our school and district policy about only clear bags being allowed in classrooms. This policy extends to any large bag used for carrying books. If you are not in compliance with this policy, your teacher may send you to your locker to put your bag away and mark your attendance accordingly, or write a referral to the office for a consequence. Another important safety reminder is that no students are allowed to exit or enter through the B or C doors. You must use the A doors. The D doors are also allowable if you have an early release sticker or pass. T-Shirts for Cancer week are no longer available to order online but can be purchased for $15 with a credit/debit card in the Athletic office at all lunches.  We have already sold out of some of our larger sizes, so get your shirt before they’re gone!

Announcements – September 9, 2026

I hope that you had a great first day! Remember that today is picture day and all students must get a picture taken and receive a student ID card. You need that card to enter games, leave the lunch room, and more. If you are an Early College or Dual Enrollment student, you need a sticker on your card allowing you to leave early. Stop in the main office with your new card to get that sticker. Travelling students, you need to leave class 4 minutes early to get to your shuttle, or to your class at CV9, on time. Bus riders, make sure you know your route number, so you can find your bus at the end of the day. I want to emphasize a few expectations. Announcements – September 8, 2026

Good morning, this is Mr. Distelrath, Chippewa Valley High School principal. I'm really excited to be starting this school year with you today. It's going to be a great year. Each morning I will begin day with the pledge of allegiance followed by some morning announcements. For the sake of time, some announcements will not be shared over the PA, but will be shared on my Schoology page. See your student email for the access code. You have already received some reminders about our cell phone, backpack, attendance, and closed campus policies, and I will provide additional reminders in the days ahead. For today, please note that the Attendance Office has moved. It is located in the old Principal's Office just past the Counseling Office. Whenever you have an early release, you must stop by the Attendance Office for a pass. Picture day is tomorrow. All students must get their picture taken. You will receive a student ID card, which is required for entry into sporting events, to leave the cafeteria at lunch time, to re-enter the building when returning on a shuttle, to check out books, and more. For today, if you don't have last year's student ID, the schedule that you will receive this hour can be used in its place. It has a barcode for scanning in the lunch room or wherever needed. Again, see your student email for the access code to my Schoology page. There you will see these announcements and more, including how to buy a Cancer Week t-shirt.
