Spring Carnival Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

Ojibwa PTO is sponsoring an exciting community-wide raffle!
The Cash Prizes are: $500, $350, $250 and $100.
Winners drawn during the Carnival on April 24th.
Need not be present to win!
  • We are asking each student & staff member to sell or purchase at least one book of tickets.
  • The cost is $1 per ticket /$10 per book
  • Use this form to request the amount of additional ticket books you would like and we will send those home with your student within 48-72 hours, or sooner if we are able to do it.
  • All sold ticket stubs and payments MUST be returned prior to receiving additional tickets.
  • Those returning sold tickets should include the completed ticket stubs and money in a sealed envelope marked PTO-RAFFLE no later than Tuesday, April 21st.
  • Pursuant to new District Guidelines for collecting money, checks are preferred. Please make checks payable to Ojibwa PTO. Returned or bounced checks will be assessed a $20 fee. Tickets received after this date will be included in the Raffle, but will not count toward classroom sales incentives
  • NOTE TO FAMILIES WITH MORE THAN ONE STUDENT: Please return tickets with the CORRECT child’s name on the envelope when returning. It does make a difference - the Michigan State Lottery Commission requires us to track the specific ticket numbers each child received.
  • PDF of the flyer sent home can be found here.

SCHOOL GOAL: $7,000 tickets sold!

INCENTIVES

  • If we meet our goal, there will be a special school assembly where the top 10 ticket sellers will get to compete with Mr. K at a special school wide assembly for a fun jousting competition!
  • The class with the highest percentage of participation (the most students that turned in their sold books) will receive a special classroom prize.

Families Wishing NOT to Participate
You MUST return the ticket book back to school.  The State of MI requires us to track every ticket number and we still try to sell unsold tickets during the carnival and distribute to families wishing to sell more.

We hope that all Ojibwa families choose to support this huge effort to help continue to fund programs at the school!  Wondering how the funds we raise are used?  Check out our website https://tinyurl.com/ojibptobudget

Volunteers Needed

The Carnival is a huge undertaking for the PTO, both as a fundraiser and a really fun event for our families to start the slow roll into the end of the school year!

  • Decorations committee is looking for volunteers to help with the creation of some of the decor we are planning.  We will also be looking for parent volunteers to help with set up, clean up and help with certain areas of the event that student volunteers cannot help with.

If you are interested, please email us at 30pto@cvs.k12.mi.us or contact us via Facebook Messenger. Thanks in advance for any support you can provide to make this event memorable for our students!
