Science Olympiad events take advantage of the natural curiosity of each child and allow for in-depth science exploration and discovery. Science Olympiad improves the quality of science education and problem solving in elementary school students and increases the interest of diverse students in science. Students in 4th and 5th grades are eligible for the team, and 3rd grade students are eligible for the alternate team. Students can sign up by filling out an application form requiring a teacher signature and a letter of recommendation.
