The Ojibwa Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Ojibwa Elementary.
Our goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.
2025-26 Goals:
- Raise just over $50,000 during the school year to help fund social events for our families as well as supplement educational experiences.
- Increase parent, staff, and student involvement in PTO-sponsored activities and initiatives.
- Strengthen the communication between the PTO and Ojibwa staff to better support staff members, and in turn, our students.
- Continue to strengthen the sense of community at Ojibwa.
2026-2027 School Year - PTO Board Elections
Elections for the Ojibwa PTO Board for the 2026-2027 school year will be held at the May 13th PTO Meeting. All positions are open for election. For the office of President and Treasurer, a member must have served on the Board the previous year or be an active member in good standing with previous Executive Board or Chairperson experience. If no one steps forward with these qualifications, the PTO, in conjunction with the principal, has the ability to waive these requirements.
In order to run for a position, please fill out the Intent to Run form and send it in an envelope marked PTO Board Elections to the school principal (office). All forms must have the Principal’s signature. All forms should be submitted no later than Monday, May 4th so that a slate of candidates may be presented at the May 13th meeting.

What happens at a PTO meeting?
During each PTO meeting, board members, committee chairs, and our Principal, Mr. Kondziolka (a.k.a. Mr. K.) , speak about what has been going on at our school during the past month. We ask for your ideas and help for all of our events that we sponsor during the school year. Time is also given all our attending parents to speak about school-related concerns. We would love to see you at our next meeting!!
Where does all the money go?
Some of the things that PTO funds through our fundraising programs: Grade level t-shirts, field trips, assemblies, teacher allocations, reading month, 5th grade end-of-the-year party, Kindergarten completion, 5th grade completion, Science Olympiad, Lego Robotics, Principal/Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, Springo, Field Day and so much MORE!
