The Destination Imagination Program teaches students about the Creative Process in fun, challenging, project-based ways.
Students are separated into teams based on ages/grades and work on a team chosen challenge. Teams work for weeks developing their solution and present it at a local tournament. Top scoring teams advance to the State level tournament and if they are top-scoring at the State level, have the opportunity to attend Global Finals.
Program Challenges are centered around STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine art/theatrical elements and in-line with Common Core Standards. Students learn about team building, collaborating, brainstorming, flexibility, patience, trial & error, respect, persistence, ethics and more. There just aren't enough words and adjectives to describe what the students get out of the program!
For Students in Kindergarten to Second Grade
For Students in Third to Twelfth Grade
