Parents: Pandemic EBT Program
Families with children who received free or reduced-cost lunches at school qualify for a new program.  The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT) provides temporary funding to address emergency food needs for families affected by the pandemic. P-EBT food assistance benefits will go to Michigan families with students ages 5-18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. If you have received a determination letter that your student qualifies for free or reduced-cost lunch benefits for the 20/21 school year, no further action is needed to receive a P-EBT card. If your student is not currently receiving meal benefits and you would like to be considered for a P-EBT card, an application should be filled out at www.lunchapp.com to determine eligibility.
