Kristina Gandini is the counselor for students whose last names begin with the letters A-K. She earned her undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University in 1991 with majors in Biology and Consumer Home Economics. She has two masters degrees from Wayne State University, one in Educational Leadership (1995), and the other in Counseling (December 2004.) Mrs. Gandini was a high school Vocational Consumer Home Economics teacher for sixteen years, including four years at Chippewa Valley High School before coming to Algonquin M.S. Janice McDougall is the counselor for students whose last names begin with letters L-Z. She earned her undergraduate degree at Eastern Michigan University, with a major in Language Arts and a minor in Social Sciences. She earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University. Mrs. McDougall has worked for Chippewa Valley Schools for 25 years - 10 years as an elementary school counselor and 15 years as a classroom teacher at Algonquin Middle School.
