A great day at
Chippewa...
To Whom It May
Concern:
I am a local
business owner that just recently had the opportunity to speak
to one of Chippewa’s business classes. I visit and speak at
high schools 2 or 3 times a week and visit 15 different schools
throughout the year.
I just have to
stop and bring to someone’s attention the wonderful experience I
had at Chippewa on Wednesday. It started off at 7:00am. A
young man walking next to me approaching the main doors opened
the door for me, and not knowing me replied, “Welcome to
Chippewa.” This was a student. It made me smile and started my
day at Chippewa off so positive. As I approached the desk, it
was 7:00am and very busy, but your reception desk took the time
to make me feel welcome.
It’s nice to see a
system that was not only safe and secure for the students, but
also public friendly. Again, it made me feel positive about
Chippewa. The students in the class I spoke to was Mrs.
Walker's 1st hour. What a great reflection on your school!
I don't have any
children in the Chippewa Valley District, but I would be proud
to say my child went to Chippewa Valley Schools. The reason I'm
sending this e-mail is that we are always hearing about the bad
things with students and schools and I think when a school
shines with positivity and good, we should talk more about it.
Great staff, great students, and great job in a very tough
time. Whatever you are doing, keep it up. It’s working!
Thank you for
taking the time to read this.
